The Glenesk is an independently owned, family run hotel which offers accommodation in the beautiful village of Edzell.  Despite its rural setting, it is located just 5 miles off the A90, approximately half way between Dundee and Aberdeen at the foot of the Angus Glens.

The hotel itself has 23 bedrooms, a leisure club, excellent dining facilities and plenty of off-road parking.  It also boasts a large garden with a children's adventure play area for the sunny days and a snooker room and lounges with free wi-fi for the rainy ones!

The Glenesk Hotel has an excellent reputation as a wedding venue but with a variety of rooms available for private functions it is the ideal location to celebrate any occasion.

The Glenesk Hotel is always a popular choice for golf parties as the first tee of Edzell's scenic 18 hole course is less than a minute's walk from the garden but there are also superb opportunities for fishing and shooting in the area.  Edzell's location at the foot of the Angus Glens also offers excellent possibilities for hill walking, cycling or other more adventurous outdoor pursuits which can be organised through the hotel's connections with local experts.  The Glenesk Hotel is part of Visit Scotland's Walkers, Cyclists and Golfers Welcome Schemes.
